Beauty things I suck at
Recently on Youtube, beauty gurus have been participating in this tag created by Rubenesquex3 otherwise know as Kim! Its so easy to look at these girls and assume they're perfect because truthfully, that is the beauty of editing, right? Kim came up with this idea because she wanted everyone to understand that they are real people and they too suck at things. I think this tag is so great. I try super hard when it comes to beauty and taking care of myself but truthfully, there are so many things I suck at. Let me share with you some of the things I suck at.
1. Eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner, winged eyeliner, eyeliner on my waterline or tight line, its all the same. I either look like I did drugs, like I've wrestled a lion in the jungle or as though I am working the streets at night.
2. Shaving my legs. The idea of shaving your legs is simple right? Wrong. I miss a spot every single time. I purposely go over my legs two or three times to make sure I get every single little hair yet I always fail.
3. Coloured eyeshadow. I can wear the heck out of neutrals and I can rock the light pink colours but anything other than that? Forget it. It literally looks like a Picasso wannabe used my eyelids as a canvas or as if I belong in a circus.
4. Contouring. This was totally not a thing before. Bronzer was applied lightly all over your face as to give it the glowing effect to your face. Now, bronzer is used to contour your face in hopes of looking slimmer. The problem here is, I will contour just as I see many girls do on Youtube, yet I look like I fell face first into a pile of dirt and forgot to wipe it off.
5. Curling my hair. It just always looks a little off.
6. Painting my nails. It literally looks like a four year old trying to colour inside the lines. Otherwise known as an epic failure. Don't even begin to mention nail art.
7. Finding a good skin care routine. I used to truthfully not wash my face. I mean in the shower I would wash it but simply with water and occasionally some soap and at night, I would simply use a makeup remover wipe. My skin never broke out. I recently started taking skin care more seriously. I use cleanser in the shower everyday, I use makeup remover for my eye makeup, a wipe for my face, a toner and a moisturizer as well as night cream. My skin is breaking out like a mad woman because of all the stuff its been containing for years. But I hate having zits so I feel like it would sometimes just be easier to not do it. I'm gross, wow.
I'm sure there are many more things that I simply cannot think of at the moment but that is my list for now!
If you would like to share with me some of the things you suck at, I would be super interested in reading them!

Healthy changes
As you guys may have noticed in my new years resolution post, i wanted to work on my health, both physical and mental.
Ive been working out and making healthy food choices.
Its not an easy battle. I like my junk food and i would prefer to sit on my butt and lose weight but clearly that isn't how it works.
Small changes. One step at a time. Start small and work up to it in order to not get discouraged. If you put your mind to it, anything is possible.

LUXEBOX - WINTER EDITION
What did I get this time around?
1. Eyeko Mini Skinny Brush Mascara
Mascara in a tube is a confusing concept to me, but the brand has great reviews therefore I am super excited to try this mascara out.
2. China Glaze Nail Polish
Nail polish is always a pretty safe bet for me. This bright pink colour will be fantastic for the spring and summer.
3. B Kamins Day Lotion SPF 15
I'm not a huge lover of lotion but this will come in handy to use to moisturize my face. It smells fine therefore I'm alright with it.
4. Schwarzkofp Professional Dust It
This is a lightweight powder for your hair to add texture and have a matte finish. I'm not sure how this will work but I'll definitely try it out.
5. Calvin Klein Euphoria Perfume
I received a tester of this perfume previously and I actually really liked the smell of it. Therefore when it came time to select a product, I opted for this.
6. Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion
This product I am excited about! So far every Marc Anthony product I've tried has been a winner in my books.
7. Kérastase Cristalliste Lumière Liquide
This is like any other hair oil that will leave your hair soft. Nothing fancy but I guess good for travelling.
8. Loose Button Kabuki Brush
A makeup brush is always a nice little extra. This brush is definitely super soft and I am looking forward to using it.

Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you five products I have been loving. Four of them are makeup products and one is a nail polish.
1. The Body Shop Matte It Primer ($15)
This primer actually contains chamomile as well as aloe vera to soothe your skin. A primer helps in reducing the shine on your face as well as helping your foundation last all day.
2. Revlon Lip Butters (around $8)
Revlon kills it when it comes to most products, but they definitely have the lead in the lip product department. These lip butters are beyond amazing. I have tried Crème Brulée, Cupcake, Candy Apple, Lollipop and Strawberry Shortcake and I will honestly say I have not yet been disappointed. This product is pigmented and will leave your lips feeling moisturized.
Revlon states the following:
- Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%
- Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth

3. Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara ($10)
All I've got to say is this has been kicking my Falsies mascaras butt lately. I loooove it.
4. Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Extreme Wear Nail Color in Plum Punch ($3)
I have been loving this colour for my nails lately. Its a very nice purply plum with a nice shimmer to it. These are great products for so cheap.
5. L'Oréal Infallible Creamy Powder Foundation
I use this a powder to set my foundation. I dust it on with a big kabuki brush and I honestly am in love with this. I initially picked it up to do a makeup challenge and ended up falling in love with it. I have purchased two more since.

up owl night
Its no surprise that animals have made a huge comeback this year. Many clothing items have animals such as foxes, cats, bunnies and one of the funnest ones, owls! I decided for fashion tuesday to put together two outfits featuring owls. The one on the left is casual and the one on the right is a little dressier.
I hope you guys enjoy,

november favorites
What have I been loving this month you might wonder?
1. Bath & Bodyworks Frosted Cupcake Candle!
This candle smells so delightful. It has strong smells of vanilla buttercream which makes your house smell like a bakery. It is most delightful!
2. Glade Jar Candle 2-in-1 Cinnamon & Custard
This also smells wonderful! Burns nicely, leaves your house smelling divine.
3. Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Mascara
My mascara favorite is usually the Falsies mascara. I absolutely am head over heels with it. Dare I say though, I believe this Colossal Cat Eyes mascara may have just tied the falsies. Its crazy how much I love this one. It is a drier mascara which totally adds curl to your lashes.
4. Clean&Clear Fruit Infusions Face Wash
This face wash is gentle, smells great and definitely cleans my face the right way. I love to use this with my face brush from Sally Beauty to wash my face in the morning.
5. JustFab boots in Keira (I believe)
These motorcycle style boots are so great. They are beyond comfortable to walk in, add a bit of heightt and a lot of style. You can throw them on with any outfit to make it edgier.
