Healthy changes

As you guys may have noticed in my new years resolution post, i wanted to work on my health, both physical and mental.
Ive been working out and making healthy food choices.

Its not an easy battle. I like my junk food and i would prefer to sit on my butt and lose weight but clearly that isn't how it works.

Small changes. One step at a time. Start small and work up to it in order to not get discouraged. If you put your mind to it, anything is possible.

Project pan

Have you guys ever heard of a project pan? You select a number of makeup products and you pretty much vow to use them all up before switching them out or buying new ones. Im currently doing this! Check out my video at www.youtube.com/beautybyizzyxo

on new years resolutions

this year i stuck to categorizing my resolutions
1. health
2. money
3. blogging & youtube

when it comes to blogging, my goal is to blog twice a week. as you can see, i failed the first week of january but i am not giving up. you fall seven times, you stand up 8 times.

i plan on blogging this weekend. i am excited to review one of The Balm's palettes.

2013

this year has been a whirlwind. a lot of bad, some good, some real ugly.
2013 is for a fresh new start. or so i hope.

UPDATE

Sorry I have not been blogging the last couple days. I have been beyond busy with Christmas festivities! Its been a crazy week and it isn't over yet! I've been having lots of fun and I will definitely update you all once I'm back home. 

Santa was very good to me and I will post a christmas haul soon! :)

LUXEBOX - WINTER EDITION

What did I get this time around?

1. Eyeko Mini Skinny Brush Mascara

Mascara in a tube is a confusing concept to me, but the brand has great reviews therefore I am super excited to try this mascara out.

2. China Glaze Nail Polish

Nail polish is always a pretty safe bet for me. This bright pink colour will be fantastic for the spring and summer.

3. B Kamins Day Lotion SPF 15

I'm not a huge lover of lotion but this will come in handy to use to moisturize my face. It smells fine therefore I'm alright with it.

4. Schwarzkofp Professional Dust It

This is a lightweight powder for your hair to add texture and have a matte finish. I'm not sure how this will work but I'll definitely try it out.

5. Calvin Klein Euphoria Perfume

I received a tester of this perfume previously and I actually really liked the smell of it. Therefore when it came time to select a product, I opted for this.

6. Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion

This product I am excited about! So far every Marc Anthony product I've tried has been a winner in my books.

7. Kérastase Cristalliste Lumière Liquide

This is like any other hair oil that will leave your hair soft. Nothing fancy but I guess good for travelling.

8. Loose Button Kabuki Brush

A makeup brush is always a nice little extra. This brush is definitely super soft and I am looking forward to using it.
