Old Navy Rockstar Jeans!

Work outfit: Blouse (www.romwe.com, 25$), Bag (Aldo, 49$), Shoes (www.myhotshoes.com, 16$), Bracelets (Owl - River Island 5$, Bow - H&M 7$, Branch - Monki 15$)
Play outfit: Sweater (H&M, 24$), Bag (Target, 29$), Scarf (H&M, 13$), Booties (Charlotte Russe, 26$)
Happy Friday!
If you do not live in a hole, you have obviously heard of the 'rockstar' jeans from Old Navy. Currently, they are running a promotion where the jeans retail for 19$! Such an awesome deal. Now please don't hate yourself if you have to go up a size or two, they run small.

If you are in need of inspiration as to how to wear these beautiful bottoms, I put together two outfits: one for work and one for play. Here we go!

If you are not one to be too daring with coloured bottoms at work, go for this neutral brownish-beige pair. Pair it with a a bright coloured blouse (for a bonus: a bling collar). A beautiful brown tote bag will do you wonders and allow you to bring all your business stuff with you. Throw on some cute studded flats in the colour of your shirt (or within the same colour family). Paint your nails in the colour of your blouse, throw on some bracelets & call it an arm party! Use some nude tones for your eyeshadow and apply a beautiful lipstick in an autumn colour.

As for your play outfit, it's time to go bold! Start off with a bright coloured pair of rockstar jeans. I chose the mustard pair because this colour is very on trend this season. What's one item that will always be in style? STRIPES! Go with a striped sweater in a complimentary colour to be casual. Add a pretty cross body bag, some cute booties and an infinity scarf in a neutral colour to tone it down a little. Coat your lashes with your favourite mascara and go for a tinted lip balm to pull the look together!

Have a lovely weekend

Look for less

I recently stumbled upon this picture of Eleonora Carisi on Glamour's website. I was totally intrigued by her look. Only problem is, as most celebrities, her outfit didn't retail for cheap. I took it upon myself to recreate her look on a tighter budget!

Start off your favourite black top (preferably a tank top or tee): I chose this H&M top, with a sheer upper level that retails for 13$. I am sure you guys all have a black top in your wardrobe.
Now, I'm not sure everyone has a bright pink skirt so go out and purchase one. No need in spending a million dollars on something you may not wear that often. This hot pink zipper back skirt is from Windsor & it retails for 42$. This may be a little pricey for you so you can check out Forever 21 or even a thrift store.
I feel like everybody should own a basic black pair of pumps. If you do not already have this in your wardrobe (which I highly doubt), I suggest you go and invest in a pair today! These Rock & Republic high heels are from Kohls and retail of 34$ but you can honestly find a classic pair of black heels at any shoe store.
For your bag, I recommend a bright satchel. If you can't afford to go pick up a new one, such as this lilac satchel from warehouse.com that retails from 32$, then use one you have in your closet or just use a bright bag. Pick up your favourite pair of black sunglasses to add some mystery to the outfit.
If it is warm where you live, you can wear this outfit without a jacket but if it is a tad bit chilly where you live, I'd recommend a lovely leather jacket, preferably in a green or khaki colour but once again, if it is out of your price point, use whatever you have in your closet! This one above is from buckle.com and retails for 49$.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look for less. I'll be attempting to do more of these because I think everybody is on a budget!

In the beginning of fall, a jacket is not usually required. At times though, it is essential to have a super cute fall jacket. Everybody likes something different so today I've put together five perfect jackets for fall.
1. Blue Lapel Long Sleeve Pockets Denim Trench Coat (www.sheinside.com, 48$)
One of the biggest trends this fall is denim jackets. Most of them are shrunken jackets and they are mostly figure forming. This is a play on an original denim jacket. It is a tad oversized therefore it's a lot comfier and you can wear a bulkier shirt underneath.
2. Khaki Military Style Park Jacket (www.fashionunion.com, 40$)
Another fall trend this year is military styled items. Many of the items for this trend are jazzed out with some studs, spikes or leather. If you are not feeling that daring, go for a simple khaki coloured jacket such as this one. You will be able to look edgy without taking too much of a risk.
3. Gray Long Sleeve Woolen Coat (www.indressme.com, 36$)
A fun wool coat is a staple for every closet. You can wear it over a t-shirt in the fall and for the winter, you can add a load of layers. This particular style is the ideal coat for running errands around town. Throw on some leggings, a tunic and your favourite pair of boots and bask in the comfort of this coat.
4. Leather Jacket (H&M, 48$)
Leather jackets have & always be in style. You can go for a black, brown, or coloured leather jacket and rock it through the years. This particular jacket from H&M is an edgier style. The sleeves are leather, the jacket is coated with felt, there are pressed studs at the neckline and cuffs and it has elbow patches. This jacket can make you look biker chic in a matter of minutes.
5. Varsity Jacket (Delias, 31$)
Varsity jackets are making a comeback. It used to be cool to wear your boyfriends varsity jacket and now they are making similar styles for women - your boyfriend gets to keep his jacket and single women can buy some therefore everyone is happy. Taylor Swift rocked one recently and they are a must-have item these days.

Happy Tuesday

GLYMM

Last week, I received my Glymm box for the month of September. If you do not know what Glymm is, it is a subscription beauty box you receive every month for the price of about 11-12$. This is one of the few canadian beauty box subscriptions available. I am a huge fan of subscription boxes because I love to try out new products and find out if there are amazing brands I have not yet heard of.
This month, the beauty products came in a white diamond makeup case. Inside of it, I found the following.
1. EVOLVh Luxury Organic Haircare UltraShine Moisture Shampoo and Moisture Conditionner
I received a sample size of both these products. The sample size was 2 fl oz and came in cute bottles which I am so thankful for because i hate the little squeeze packets they usually come in. These products  are free of all the bad stuff (sulfate, paraben, sodium chloride) and they are said to turn straw hair into silk, minimize the frizz and maximize softness and manageability! I am excited to try these out.
2. LA FRESH Waterproof Makeup Remover
This month, I received two packets of this product, 1 wipe per packet. 100% biodegradable wet wipe for eyes & lips - alcohol free. I have not tried this yet because I want to keep it for travelling. I have tried LA FRESH products in the past glymm boxes and I loved them all.
3. VILLAINESS DULCES EN FUEGO Whipped Body Cream
This is simply a body cream. The description states this product is 'Moisture restoration, gentle emollience, and velvety texturising.' It smells nice; a bit of chocolate, a bit of vanilla, some citrus, black pepper and nutmeg.
4. BENTABERRY Hydrating Cream for Girls - Preventative Line
A month or two ago, I received this product (for girls & boys) and I tried it out. It is simply a face cream    to apply before your makeup to 'protect' yourself and moisturize your face. Honestly, I didn't really like the product because it was nothing special but I mean, i'll throw it on my face to keep it moisturized. It is simply nothing great and worth having a fit over. Same goes with this month.

We all have those weeks where we simply just don't know what to wear. I've decided to put together some outfits to get you through the work week. Monday mornings are not easy so lay your outfit together. A denim shirt is oh so comfortable and to glam it up, add your favourite skirt. Add a statement necklace to make it shine. Add some gold studs, a cute bag and throw on a red lipstick to look as if you actually tried. If you have time to paint your nails, do that too! Wearing a cute outfit always starts the week off on the right foot!

If you are like most people, Tuesdays are harder to deal with then mondays. Tuesday has no purpose. You may as well put some effort into your look to show this day who is boss. Throw on your favourite comfy dress in a bright colour. For the commute to work, it may be a little bit chilly so pair this dress with a black blazer. To dress up the casual dress, add your favourite pair of black high heels. To keep it in unison, add a black purse and some black studs. Coat your nails with a shade similar to the colour of your dress.

Wednesday is ultimate celebration time. You've made it to the half point of the week! Keep it a tad bit more casual today. Start off with your favourite bright coloured jeans. Pair them with a sheer blouse with a fun collar. Add a cream blazer for the walk to and from the office to keep you warm, throw on some fun glittery gold shoes and add some arm candy to spruce it up when you are not wearing the blazer. Add a cream coloured purse to tote all your stuff!

Thursday. Oh so close to the weekend. All I can say is keep it classy but fun! Patterned pants are where its at this season. This lovely pair of floral pants can be toned down by wearing a cute cream or white top. Throw in a statement necklace in one of the colours found on the pants. Some studded cream flats will tie this outfit together. For your purse, use this beautiful yellow messenger bag for an extra pop of colour. Add a cute pair of studs in your ears, a long-lasting lipstick on your lips as well as a gold cream eyeshadow to brighten up your face.

Friday! Happy dance time! Today is the best day of the week. Two days of freedom are so close. Keep it casual but glamorous. A deep plum toned coloured pair of jeans is a very strong base for a great friday outfit. Throw on a beautiful black lace top to add a fancier element. Throw on a super cute pair of flats because Friday's goal is comfort. Add a neutral coloured bag on your shoulder. Add a deep lipstick to your lips and throw in some curl cream into your hair to tame that mane.

I hope you guys enjoyed what I put together for the working girls wardrobe for the week! All these outfits are perfect for a day at the office and can be transitioned into a night out with your beau or your friends!

Saturday, 22 September 2012

Happy Saturday! Seeing as today is the first official day of fall, I decided to put together two looks perfect for the occasion.  Let me share with you the chic look first. If you happen to be unlucky enough to be working or if you have a get-together with friends today, you are more than likely going for this look. One of fall's staples this year is animal print. Throw on a leopard print blouse (H&M, 21$) and pair it with a pair of cropped black pants. (GAP, 49$) Another fall staple is booties. For this outfit, I chose to throw in a pair of beige booties (Charlotte Russe, 26$) to play off the leopard print blouse. Seeing as this outfit seemed to be very neutral, I wanted to add a pop of colour. I chose to pair the outfit with this plum & black bag (mod cloth, 40$) as well as this beautiful bib necklace (gojane.com, 18$).
If you are enjoying this beautiful saturday off, maybe shopping around or just heading to the farmers market, I've put together a more casual outfit for the occasion. The first idea that came to me was to create an outfit around a jumper. I chose this purple & white large striped knit jumper (dorothyperkins.com, 48$). You could easily throw on your favourite pair of jeans but I decided to pair the knit sweater with a simple pair of black leggings.(johnlewis.com, 22$) Grab some comfy black boots such as these cute ones above. (Payless, 34$) If it's chilly outside, throw on an infinity scarf so you don't have to worry about readjusting it all day long. (only.com, 22$) When shopping or exploring the neighbourhood, it's always a good idea to keep your hands free. This is where a cross body bag comes in and saves the day. (Topshop, 49$) If you're in the mood to dress your outfit up, throw on some cute arm candy and paint your nails in a nice shade of purple.

I hope I inspired you to throw together a cute outfit!
Happy Saturday!

Hey ladies! Can we all be in agreement that we all love to smell good?
I don't think anybody likes to smell bad... Today I've decided to share with you my favourite perfumes incase you are looking to try something new!
1. Bath & Body Works Be Enchanted eau de toilette. "Master perfumers blended iced pomegranate, sugared petals and creamy musk to create this fresh, sparkling frosted floral fragrance sweetened with sugared pomegranate and inspired by all that glitters." This is my everyday perfume. I absolutely love the scent and I can't get enough. It is such a fresh scent and I find myself constantly reaching for this bottle. Retails for 26.50$ (CAN)
2. Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar eau de toilette. "Master perfumers have infused vanilla absolute with basmati rice water and sweet, creamy sandalwood to create this addictively comforting fine fragrance where indulgence meets pure seduction." I am a huge fan of the smell of vanilla anything so it is no surprise that I like this perfume. I highly believe it can suit everyone. Retails for 26.50$ (CAN)
3. DKNY Be Delicious perfume. "Served in a sleek metal and glass apple bottle, this juicy fragrance combines the scent of apple with a sophisticated blend of exotic flowers and sensual wood". This perfume has been raved about by many people. It is a very refreshing scent.  If you prefer fruity perfumes, I would go with this one. Retails for 75$ at Sephora.
4. Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria perfume. "ts sparkling top notes seduce the senses with a blend of forbidden fruit such as mandarin, passion fruit, and iced raspberry. The heart blooms with a hypnotic bouquet of tiger orchid and jasmine. Underneath its exotic floralcy lies a layer of addictive patchouli and a sophisticated blend of musks and cashmere woods for an everlasting impression." It really is no surprise that I like this perfume. I got a sample size in one of my subscription boxes and it is one of the rare ones that I actually liked. This is a very mysterious yet sexy perfume. Out of the four presented today, this is definitely the most appropriate for work in my mind. Retails for 78$ at Sephora.

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Its quite obvious I like my fruity and floral scents according to this chart! I hope I can inspire you guys to test out some of these fragrances, please let me know if you do.
Happy friday!

Hey pretty ladies! With university and college starting recently, you may find yourself attending many social activities such as parties, attending different clubs, rushing sororities or maybe even going to check out the good-looking boys at the football game. Now, going to a football game isn't the time to throw on your cute dress and spend five hours getting ready but who are we kidding, we still want to look cute!
I put together an outfit idea for you. You want to start off with picking a flannel/plaid shirt, preferably in your school colours to represent it at the game. If it's nice out, skip a jacket but if its a little chillier, you may want to add a denim jacket! If you have a light wash denim jacket, I would throw some darker jeans or some cute yoga pants. Grab a cross-body purse so you don't have to worry about forgetting it at the game but you can still keep some essentials handy! Add a cute watch to add a pop to your outfit. As for shoes, you could potentially wear cute shoes but you then have a chance to get cold feet. I would add a cute pair of sneakers with this outfit. If you have lots of time, straighten or curl your hair but if you're in a rush and you want to look like you spent time doing your hair, add a fancy ponytail!

Wednesday, 19 September 2012

Hey beauties! I have for you today products I love for my hair. Pretty much, this is my way of sharing my hair care routine with you. In the past, I never worried about my hair. Never did I spend money on my haircare. I used whichever shampoo and conditioner my mom purchased that week and sometimes I'd use a bit of hairspray. Watch out, I was wild! After dying my hair a couple times, I'd notice my hair was so dry, frizzy and dead looking. I made it my mission to find some products that worked for my hair type to maximize my hair's potential. After much research, I came to a conclusion that I had to invest some money into sulfate-free shampoo, something for my split ends and something to protect my damaged hair.
I have found many products that I am now in love with. Let's start with shampoo & conditioner.
TIGI Bedhead Epic Volume Sulfate-free Shampoo & Conditioner
I will be the first to admit that this stuff isn't cheap. I had to put my big girl panties on and just invest in a good product. It smells absolutely amazing, and the shampoo is still lasting me seeing as I only wash my hair about 3 times a week. I purchased the conditioner because there was a deal but in the future I would only buy the shampoo seeing as it can add up quickly. Conditioners are easier to find for the cheap seeing as they don't contain sulfate.
HAIR OILS
Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum & Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment
I originally had the Macadamia Oil because I purchased a complete set that Macadamia had for sale which was cheaper than just buying the one thing I wanted. This oil is meant to be used after styling your hair to make it seem soft and frizz-free without being greasy. I'll admit, I hate the feeling oil leaves in your hands but if its going to give me nice hair, I'll take it. This product is expensive and is raved about. I bought the Organix Serum on a whim, it was 6.99 and I wanted to compare it to see if in the future, I would be able to save some money. I love this serum. I like to put it in my hair when I initially get out of the shower and it makes my hair seem so soft and frizz-free.
REDKEN EXTREME ANTI-SNAP
I saw this product roaming around the tumblr universe and I was super duper excited to try this out. Now here is my problem, I hate getting haircuts. Okay, scratch that, I hate GOING to get my hair cut. Once I'm there, I'm a happy camper but i just want my hair to grow instead of being shorter. But if I can reduce the amount of split ends, I don't need to get it cut as often. This product works wonders. It's also a product that my wallet hates to see but pretty hair, don't care...right?
BATISSE DRY SHAMPOO
I have not tried many dry shampoos. I have a powder dry shampoo by Cake which is essentially a baby powder but its brown and it smells like chocolate. Its a good product, but it can be messy. Batisse dry shampoo is cheap, efficient and that's all that really matters. I've heard good things of other products but why spend more money if this is good?
MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL DEEP REPAIR MASQUE
If you follow any beauty gurus on youtube, this is the most holy grail hair product that is being shown. I must admit, I've always been a fan. It is very pricey, but you only use it once a week therefore it lasts a good amount of time. You apply it to your hair, more-so on the lower half of your hair and you let it sit for 5-10 minutes, more if you can. Once you rinse it out, your hair will feel so healthy it's honestly amazing. It's important not to use it too often seeing as some of the ingredients could potentially damage your hair in the long run.
TRESEMME THERMAL CARE
This is also a raved about product. It is super important to use a heat protectant before you use heat on your hair (blowdrying, straightening, curling...). Now it's hard to know how amazing a product like this really works on your hair seeing as you can't really tell how great it is until you see if your hair is damaged or not. I think most people prefer this one because it smells nice, it has a spray nozzle which is amazing and its just easy to use. Its also very cheap, so BONUS.
CHI KERATIN MIST LEAVE-IN
I purchased this on a whim because I saw that it was a Keratin mist and the Chi brand is pretty well established. It states that this product is a leave-in mist that you spray into your hair to provide strength, protection and softness while leaving it shiny & silky. It actually smells pretty good and I love adding this as a step in my routine.

I'll be the first to admit that when I wake up in the morning and I see that it is raining, all I want to do is go back to bed and hibernate all day long. That or, throw on some sweats and head out the door. I rarely wake up on a rainy day and feel like getting dressed up. That being said, I am really trying to make a conscious effort to not look like a hobo (though, if thats your style, thats fine). I woke up this morning and it was pouring. I felt inspired to put together an outfit to inspire you guys for what to wear on a rainy day.
In this case, I paired this grey oversized knit sweater (Romwe, 49$) with this pair of patterned leggings (forevernew.co.au, 31$). I added a different variation of rain boots that class up the outfit just a tad (Hunter,  160$). I will admit that this is one ridiculously expensive pair of rain boots. BUT, I do believe this is a great investment. This brand is well-known and I have never heard anything bad about it. Furthermore, this pair of boots is a basic colour and will transition beautifully throughout the seasons. Jazz up this outfit by adding a pair of studs. In this case, I went with studs that were inspired by the weather (Modcloth, 16$). Throw your hair into a fishtail braid (if you don't know how to do that, just braid it normally or throw it up into a messy bun), pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea and listen to some great music. Alex Goot is an up-and-coming Youtube artist and I love his music. Before heading out the door, grab your umbrella!
Fall is quickly arriving around here. One day it is over twenty five degrees and today it is about ten degrees. Maxi skirts are a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe, especially in a very neutral colour. You can pretty much wear this year round. Let me show you how I would style this piece from summer to fall. This skirt retails for 38$ from River Island but maxi skirts are an easy piece to find.
SUMMER EDITION
For the hot temperatures, I would pair this skirt with a breezy tank in a vibrant colour like the one above (Ardène, 15$). Seeing as this skirt is longer, shoes are not a huge factor but I like to pair them with cute sandals in case you sit down and people can see your shoes. I chose a simple white sandal from ASOS (27$) but you could easily pair it with a cheap pair of flip-flops. I would match my bag to my shoes in this case and get a big white bag that you can carry all your stuff in. This specific one is from debenhams and retails for 48$. Seeing as this outfit is pretty casual, you could pair it with some jewelry to add some classiness to the outfit. If you can afford some hefty things, I would consider purchasing a Michael Kors watch. They are a timeless staple to have. This specific model is

'Bradshaw' Chronograph Bracelet Watch and retails for 245$ from Nordstrom. Add this bracelet from Aldo which retails for 15$ to spice up the arm candy. If you have pierced ears, you can add these little bow studs from Kohls (10$). If you're more of a ring gal, you can add this beauty of a ring from Aldo which retails for under 10$. Leave your hair au natural and add some Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray and a bright pink lip to keep the summer theme.

FALL EDITION
For the fall, pair this maxi skirt with a bright knit sweater such as this H&M wool jumper (24$). Add a striped scarf to keep your neck warm (H&M, 10$) When it comes to footwear, pair this outfit with something casual & comfy such as these mint metallic linen TOMS (47$) to add in a pop of colour. For a bag, I would add a large black bag (JustFab 39$). Spruce up your earlobes with these cute bow earrings (avaadorn.com, 12$). As for hair and makeup, throw your hair up in a sock bun! Keep it very laid-back. Throw some Red Velvet Lip Butter by Revlon on those lips of yours and slap some of OPI's Kyoto Pearl on your nails.

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Let me know if you have any requests :)

Monday, 17 September 2012

Often times, I have a hard time dishing out the money to buy a whole new wardrobe for different seasons. I like to try and make different pieces work for different seasons by accessorizing them differently.
Today, I will be breaking down how to transition this dress from summer to fall.
Dress: AX Pairs Cat Print Skate Dress (31$ republic.co.uk)
This patterned dress can be put together for more fancy occasions but is lightweight and flawy enough to be dressed down also. The cat print is fun and bold which means the accessorizing needs to be a bit toned down.
For summertime, I would pair this dress with a beautiful pair of sandals in a fun colour, such as this mint coloured pair from ASOS (39$). I would add a bright bag in the same family colour as the sandals, such as this one from Nasty Gal (37$). For a sunny day, I would add a fedora. The one pictured above is from Wet Seal (10$). I would also add a nice pair of sunglasses of your choice.

To transition this dress into the fall, I would switch the sandals for this nice pair of boots from Kohls (35$) to spice it up a little. Boots are such a trend this year and this pair is sort of a mix between the motorcycle boots and the western boots. Seeing as this season can be quite chilly, I would recommend this type of jacket. It is a shorter jacket, so it would not overwhelm the dress. This jacket retails for 40$ (udobuy.com).
Trade in the mint bag for a brown leather bag. Throw it over your shoulder and look super cute and only for 38$ (debenhams.com).

Living in Canada, the most popular monthly subscription boxes are limited. We do not have birch box, my glam, popsugar and such so we are limited. When I first started looking into such boxes in Canada, I found that they had Loose Button Luxe Box as well as Glymm. I decided to sign up for both because, truthfully, I love all things of this type and I do enjoy trying out new products. Most products, I'll admit, have been simply okay and I would not necessarily repurchase them. Today, I'm gonna present you 6 products that I would definitely dish out the money for (and one of these I already did purchase).
Here we go:
1. M. Asam Magic Fini (bb cream) - full size 30 ml = 38$ (glymm website)
Now this is a little pricey, I will be the first to admit that it is ridiculous to spend the money on such a product because really, I am the queen of cheap. But, it is amazing. Maybe I'll ask for some as a christmas present.
2. Calvin Klein SHOCK for men - 3.4 oz = 26.95$ (amazon)
Obviously this product would not be for me. In my Glymm Box one month, I received two samples of CK's Shock perfume & cologne. At first, I legitimately sat there and was like, WHY WOULD THEY SEND ME MEN PRODUCTS? But I decided to smell it and was SO impressed and in love with it that I went and bought one for my boyfriend so I could smell it all day long.
3. Social Butterfly hair perfume - 50 ml = 34$ (glymm website)
The website states the following: "Freshens your hair and channels your inner goddess. The sweet subtlety of each spritz teases your senses for up to 12 sensuous hours. hair perfume by T&M has a higher concentrate than your average perfumes, so three sprays is more than enough to bring out the tempestuous diva within."
I opened this products and at first, I thought it was a perfume sample. I smelt it and honestly, it smelled divine, like vanilla but a little sweeter. Then, after looking at the product information card, realized it was hair perfume. My brain was a bit confused because I was wondering what kind of person would put perfume in their hair... Now I'm not saying it is appropriate to spray this all over your hair at all times of the day but sometimes when you're going on day 2 or 3 of non-washed hair, you start to miss the smell of your shampoo and your hair needs a spruce of scent. INTRODUCE this product and your hair will smell amazing. They do have other scents also.
4. Chi Silk Infusion - 6 oz = 23.77$ (walmart)
This product provides your hair with healthy nutrients to make it stronger and more hydrated. It is an oil that you apply to your hair before styling and it does tame the frizziness. When you do add ceramic heat to this product, it will insure the deep penetration of the silk proteins in the oil. Soft hair, don't care.
5. LA Fresh nail polish remover pads - 20 individual packets = 9.99$
This is just way more convenient than a bottle of nail polish remover for two simple reasons. First of all, you can just throw a packet of this into your purse and just walk out of the house. One pad takes off nail polish from all ten of your nails, conditions your cuticles with Aloe, Glycerin and Vitamin E, doesn't dry out your skin an strengthens your nails with natural extracts. Second of all, I don't know about you guys, but often when trying to get nail polish remover onto cotton balls, I make a mess. With this product, you do not have to worry.
6. CARGO Lash Activator Primer in Black - 35$ (cargocosmetics.com)
OOPS, I feel bad. I actually didn't receive this in my glymm box, it came in my Luxe Box but I had no idea until I researched it. Please excuse my mistake but I still feel the need to mention this product. This product is known to be a primer for your mascara. I am not usually a fan of mascara samples because I do have my two trustworthy products. I decided to give this a whirl because I am trying to use up my products. OH MY GOODNESS my lashes looked so amazing. Now, I have very short lashes and I'm all about length length and more length. Seeing this product is a primer, I did coat it with my trusty mascara, BUT, I do believe that even though it is simply a primer, it looks AMAZING on it's own. Now, 35$ is a biiiiiiig jump from my daily product that costs about 10 bucks (which I think is even ridiculous) and seeing as you're supposed to dispose of them after 3 months, I just don't know if I could willingly spend money on this, but I sure as hell would request it as a gift or if I ran into some surprise money, I'd definitely get it.

bath and body works is where its at

I am a massive fan of candles. Who isn't really? I really do love spending time in Bath and Body Works smelling all their wonderful (and some not so wonderful) candles. Many many people rave about the LEAVES candle as well as the pumpkin cupcake candle but today I'm sharing with you my top three current favourite scents.

1. APPLE CRUMBLE: 'Enjoy a scrumptious fall treat with our inviting blend of baked Granny Smith and McIntosh apples topped with sweet vanilla crumble.'
2. FARMSTAND APPLE: 'This sparkling orchard favorite reminds us of a bright sunny day picking apples. Made with notes of McIntosh apple, ripe pear blossom and woodsy oak.'
3. CINNAMON SUGARED DONUT: 'Bring a bit of the bakery home with a vanilla cake donut covered in sugar crystals and a kiss of crushed cinnamon.'

YUMMY!

August Favorites

Hey dolls! This is a little bit late but I figured its better late then never!
Here are my favourites of the month.
1. Here comes honey boo boo: Honestly, this has been my favourite show this month. It is so hilarious and this family is hands down awesome. They do not give a shit what anybody says about them so you better redneckognize.
2. Special K Pastry Crisps in Brown sugar & cinnamon: YUMMY, thats about it.
3. Essie's smooth trick cuticle oil: My cuticles look sexy, enough said.
4. Taylor Swift's 'we are never ever ever getting back together': catchy catchy catchy, can't help but sing along.
5. Deep Repair Mask by Macadamia: This product leaves your hair feeling so so so so soft. Most raved about hair mask for a reason.
6. Conair Infinity Curling Wand: I used to be all about straightening my hair simply due to the fact that curling this mane was nearly impossible, especially for the right price. This curling wand has been a God sent.
7. Facial Cleansing Brush: Pretty much, this is the non-electrical version of the clarisonic for poor people. Awesome.
8. Clean & Clear Fruit Infusions: Makes my face feel super clean and smells delicious. What more can I ask?
