FALL makeup routine

Untitled #99

Hey guys!
I figured I would share with you my everyday fall makeup routine. The weather definitely permits you to go a little bolder then during the summertime seeing as you won't be sweating your makeup off constantly.
Seeing as we are getting a little pasty at this time of year, we can't rely on our tanned skin to hide our imperfections. Before you even start off, make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer on your face. Whichever one you would like!
My face routine depends on the day. When my skin isn't too bad, I usually use a tinted moisturizer or bb cream but i'm going to share my less amazing skin day routine. Start off with your favourite foundation. Currently I am using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Foundation. A little goes a long way with this product. The next step is concealer. My go-to recently is Essence Forget it 3 in 1 concealer. The green tint is for redness, the pink is for under eye circles and the beige is for blemishes. It is so inexpensive and its great. I love it.
NEXT! Use your favourite powder to set your foundation and concealer. I use the L'OrĂ©al Infallible Powder and I am a huge fan. This allows you to keep your face from getting oily and it helps keep your foundation on all day long.
I was never a big blush wearer. But lately I've been giving it a go. I have not found a favourite holy grail product yet but for fall, I figured I'd go for a cream blush. I've been using Revlon Cream Blush in Rosy Glow. I like how natural the cream blushes look on your skin. There are no shimmers in it which helps it look good. As for bronzer, I love it. Lately I have been using NYC in Sunny. It is a great matte bronzer and super inexpensive. I'd recommend you try it out.
The funnest part of applying makeup is definitely the eyes. The first step is primer. Make sure you use a great base so your eyeshadow lasts all day! Some great primers are ELF, Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. If you can't find any or don't wanna spend the money, you can also use Maybelline Colour Tattoos. I use the Colour Tattoo in Too Cool, a nice shimmery white base. Lately I have been loving Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Quad in Nude Elements. I use the top colour under my brow as a highlight colour. The second colour is used all over my lid and then I use the third colour in my crease. It is not over dramatic but definitely is my wow factor. As for mascara, it varies between the Cargo Lash Activator and Maybelline Falsies. Don't forget to curl your eyelashes first!
Lippies! Fall is definitely the ideal season for dark lips. If you are not a fan of them, then go with a nice nude. I recently have been loving Revlon Lip Butters in Candy Apple (a nice red), Raspberry Pie (a plum colour) and Lollipop (a bold dark pink).
I hope you guys enjoyed this and definitely let me know what your routine is :)
